A native of Oklahoma City, Chris holds degrees in history and anthropology from the University of Oklahoma, with a research focus in archaeology and military history. During his undergraduate studies, Chris was a member of the OU Anthropology Club and the Classical Archaeology Society and was involved in excavations at the Bryson-Paddock Site, an important historic eighteenth-century French and Wichita trading post located in Kay County, OK. Chris is a member of of the Archaeological Institute of America (AIA), the Oklahoma Anthropological Society (OAS) and the Society for American Archaeology (SAA).
