Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Education Requirements:
- Master's degree in Energy Economics, Natural Resources Management or Natural Resource Economics;
Job Duties and Job Description:
- Maintain knowledge of current regulatory environment;
- Implement relating changes in company's operations;
- Develop, enhance and implement statistical and other quanititative models to support underwriting, account management and other business decisions;
- Conceptualize and create presentations and reports for use with senior management, internal reviews and external regulatory/compliance use;
- Study economic and statistical data in oil & gas industries;
- Provide advice and consultation on economic relationships to the president as well as oil & gas clients;
- Understand technical issues in econometric and statistical modeling and applying these skills toward solving business problems;
- Monitor statistical model performance and identify opportunities to apply quantitative methods to improve business performance;
- Review the administration of energy and energy related contracts to ensure that company receives maximum benefit and meets contractual obligations;
- Develop economic guidelines and standards and prepare points of view used in forecasting trends and formulating economic policy
